Restrict From Outsite Use insures that a film is available in the Library for the maximum amount of time possible to give students a chance to watch it. It prevents AU faculty from taking the film out for an extended period.

Restrict From Outside Use is useful when an entire class has to watch a film in a short amount of time. Films may be restricted for up to two weeks.

If a film is restricted, AU faculty can take it out of the Library to their class. The film must be taken out immediately before the class period and returned immediately after the class. Restricted films are not loaned to consortium faculty. Note: You can also schedule multiple screening times for your students. Call the Media Desk at (202) 885-3251.
